Q. How Do I Find a Peer Reviewed or Scholarly Article?

There are two main ways of searching for articles at XULA .

Searching using the search box on the homepage

1. Enter your search terms in the Library Search box on the library's homepage - try using short 2-3 word phrases instead of questions or sentences.
2. Then hit Search. You'll be asked to login with your Xula credentials  and then you'll see a results screen like the one below. 
3. To get to  limit to Peer Reviewed articles , click on Peer Reviewed or Scholarly -Peer Reviewed

5. Searching Databases using the "Looking for Database" search box on the homepage

7. The databases vary but most will provide you with the opportunity to limit your search to Peer Reviewed articles  See example below of Academic Search Complete Database by EBSCO
